- Lunge Run Club (@lungerunclub)
When: Wednesdays at 6:45pm
Where: Meets at Pier 45
The details: Geared towards singles (but open to everyone!) the 3 mile run along the West Side Highway concludes with #beersafter.
Wear black if you’re single, colors if you’re taken.
2. Midnight Runners New York (@midnightrunnersnewyork)
Event schedule varies. Download the app Heylo for all info.
The Details: Midnight Runners is a global community with various events including party runs, long runs, track sessions, bootcamp runs, and more.
3. Dirty Bird Run Club (@dirtybirdrc)
When: Every Wednesday at 6:25AM, some Thursdays at 7pm, some Saturdays at 8:30am (Check Instagram or Strava)
Where: Wednesday and Thursday starts at Little Island, Saturday starting point differs (check Instagram or Strava)
The Details: Laid-back, fun vibe. Focused on “running it back from the pressure of performance, the culture of the click.”
Wednesday runs are 4 miles point to point and ends at Laughing Man Cafe.
Thursdays are 5 miles out and back.
Saturdays are 10 miles point to point.
4. Upper West Side Run Club
When: Sundays at 9am / Tuesdays at 6:45am / Thursdays at 7pm
Where: Eleanor Roosevelt Monument (Sun.) / Daniel Webster Monument (Tues.) / Museum of Natural History Steps (Thurs.)
The Details: 3 to 5 miles in either Central Park or Riverside Park. There are pace groups ranging from 8-11 minute miles.
Thursday and Sunday runs end with socializing at a local UWS spot!
5. Almost Friday Run Club (@almostfridayrunclub)
When: Thursdays at 7am
Where: West Side Highway & Morton St.
The Details: 3 miles with a short walk in the middle at 9 min/mile pace. Run concludes with coffee and socializing at a West Village coffee shop.
6. Village Run Club NYC (@villagerunclub.nyc)
When: Tuesdays at 7pm / Fridays at 7:15am
Where: Meet up locations change (Often on the WSH)
The Details: One week free trial, but after that $16 a month will get you access to runs and fitness classes.
Tuesday run is a relaxed, chatty pace, 3 miles.
Friday run is 5 miles and concludes at St. George coffee.
7. No More Lonely Runs (@nomorelonleyruns_)
When: Saturdays at 8am
Where: Alternates between Columbus Circle and West Side Highway Pier 62
The Details: Safe space for all ages, races, and paces. Distance is set to 6 miles, but many opt to do less, so no pressure if you’re new to running!
8. Endorphins (@endorphinsrunning)
When: Every day, various times (check schedule here). There is also a weekly run on Mondays on the WSH.

The Details: Founded to help fellow runners meet new people with emphasis on fostering community.
9. Asian Women Stay Running (@awstars_nyc)
When: Sundays at 9:30am (Bag drop-off at 9am, warmup at 9:15am)
Where: Meets at Mayweather Fit Tribeca
The Details: NYC’s first AANHPI women’s running club meets for weekly Sunday 1.5 mile runs and strength workouts.
10. Hey Girl Run Club (@heygirlrun)
When: Sundays at 9am (Check Instagram – subject to change)
Where: Pier 57 – West Side Highway next to City Winery
The Details: No sign-up needed, just show up 10 minutes before the start time. The 30 minute run concludes with a pit stop for coffee or juice.
12. Reckless Run Crew (@recklessruncrew)
When: Mondays at 6:45PM
Where: Bag drop at Salsa Pizzeria (40 Clifford Pl, Brooklyn)
The Details: 3-4 mile easy run that concludes with post run pizza.
